Bunny Bowen—Formerly taught at Ghost Ranch; now offers private instruction in Rozome (Japanese batik) and soy wax resist in her studio, up to two students at a time, by appointment. See a short video on Rozome.

Claudia Fluegge—Teaches basic silk painting techniques, using Gutta, Soy wax and acid dyes. Classes are usually held at The Offcenter Community Arts Project, CNM, And the North Valley Senior Citizen Center.

Emily Holcomb— Has taught fiber-related and mixed-media art techniques to adults in numerous adult-learning situations.She welcomes teaching fiber- and mixed-media-related art experiences in her home studio.

Sandra Holzman—Has taught surface design on textiles all over the US. She is currently teaching classes in the use of Procion dyes and printmaking with dyes in her studio in the East Mountains, near Albuquerque,NM. Please contact Sandra for the dates. She is also available for workshops in other locations.

Sandy Hopper— Currently gives private instruction and workshops at her studio, Grasshopper Silk, located at Hot Springs Landing, Elephant Butte, NM. She teaches an annual summer workshop at the Hubbard Museum of the West in Ruidoso, NM, scheduled for July 17–18, 2010. Available to instruct workshops at other locations. Marcia Petty—Offers regular classes in shibori at Village Wools in Albuquerque and at her studio by appointment.

Cheri Reckers—Teaches classes at Ghost Ranch during the July Festival of the Arts. Introduction to Silk Painting and other specialty classes held on select Sundays from 12:00–4:00 at Belen Art Gallery in Belen, NM and Tome Gallery in Tome, NM. May also be able to provide classes and demonstrations at your location depending on the facilities and number of participants. Contact Cheri for scheduled dates and information.

Judith Roderick—Formerly taught at Village Wools, Ghost Ranch, and from her Studios. Now teaches at her home in Placitas, one or two students at a time; basic gutta and dye techniques &/or soy wax techniques. By appointment.

Elizabeth Smith—Offers classes in shibori techniques in her studio.

Suzanne Visor—Instructs beginning silk painting and design in her home studio and at Village Wools in Albuquerque. Check their website for a schedule of classes.

Linda Walters—Teaches basic shibori and hand dyeing, stitched shibori and Nuno felting.

Mildred Woodrow—Classes held in the artist's studio. Can accommodate one or two at a time. Hours and date to be arranged at the convenience of student and teacher. Classes teach the basic gutta and dye painting techniques. Others are discussed and illustrated. Advanced classes easily arranged.
